According to the request of Shanghai government about the construction of shipping service cluster, in April, 2006, the Hongkou district party committee and government decided to establish Shanghai North Bund Shipping Service Cluster Development Office.
The office subordinates to the North Bund area comprehensive development leading group.
The chief duties of the Office:
I. Responsible for performance of shipping service function and absorption of foreign capital.
II. Correspond and improve the development of north bund cluster.
There are two departments in the office. One is sales and marketing department, the other is comprehensive department.
